Software Requirements
Property Mapper builds upon ArcView version 9, which is full-featured GIS software developed by ESRI.
MapWise provides ArcView through our business partner, GIS Associates, Inc.,
who are authorized ArcView resellers.
Hardware Requirements
ArcView runs on most recent desktop, laptop, or tablet computers.
The following table provides a guideline for system components:

Note: The county data sets vary in size from three to ten GB, so overall disk requirements will vary depending on which counties are needed.
GPS Requirements
Any GPS that outputs the NMEA protocol standard and can connect to a computer will work with the system. We have tested several Garmin units and
highly recommend the GPSMap 60C. You can order a GPS through Amazon.com (who has some of the best prices). The Garmin units
can only output NMEA protocol through a serial cable. Therefore, you will need a serial cable (with car cigarette adapter for power is recommended), plus a serial to USB adapter to connect the serial cable to your laptop.
