Abstract

The Aerial Photo 2015 1-meter NAIP data respresents digital orthophotoquads that were created from plane based digital sensors.

This data set also includes a near-infrared band. However, this representation of the data is true color.

Purpose

The National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) acquires "leaf-on" aerial photography during the growing season for agricultural monitoring and to maintain the Common Land Unit (CLU) boundaries. State and local governments often add funds to cover whole states and/or increase resolution of the data.
