Make a Parcel Report
A PDF report puts the facts on one Florida parcel in a single file you can print or send. Make one from any parcel in MapWise Explorer in a few seconds.
How do I make a report?
- Open a parcel. Click it on the map, or find it with Search.
- Choose Report on the parcel's card. Or open its details and choose Create a report in the Reports section at the top.
- Pick a report type. Each type lists what it includes and links to a sample report.
- Choose Generate. If you already made that report for the parcel, Explorer says so and offers to open it instead.
- Choose Open PDF to read it, or Share PDF to send the file. Where your browser can't share files, Share PDF downloads it.
What does each report show?
Property report
Owner, sales, building, values, legal description and soils for the parcel.
Flood report
The flood zones on the parcel, with its NFIP and coastal barrier status.
Who can make reports?
Reports come with MapWise Pro, including its free trial. Each plan includes a set number of reports a month, and Explorer shows how many you have left.
A report counts once, when you make it. Opening it again, sharing it or downloading it never counts. If a report fails, it doesn't count.
Where do I find my reports again?
Every report is saved in My Reports. Choose Reports on the left of Explorer on a computer, or in the bottom bar on a phone. Reports are grouped by parcel, and you can search them by title, address or PIN.
From there you can open a report, share it, rename it or delete it. Choose Another report to make a different type for the same parcel. A parcel's own reports are also listed in the Reports section of its details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a report change when the county updates its data?
No. A report keeps the data from the day you made it. Make a new report for current data.
Is this the same as the Property Details Report?
No. The Property Details Report is a web page in the GIS Map Viewer, and the Flood Zone Tool prints its own flood report. This page covers the PDF reports in MapWise Explorer.
Building on the MapWise API? The same reports are available there. See Get a parcel report with the API.
